Grandma is the Best Pie Maker

Out of the World Pie

  • 1 can cherry pie filing
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 1 (3 oz.) box raspberry jello
  • 6 bananas
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 baked pie shells
  • whipped topping
  • In a saucepan, combine pie filling, sugar, pineapple and juice, cornstarch and food coloring. Cook until thick; remove from heat and add jello and let cool. Add bananas and pecans; pour into 2 baked pie shells and top with whipped topping. Chill
