French Cream Pie Maker
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup sour cream *
- 2 egg yolks, (keep whites for meringue)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- Mix altogether and bring to a slow boil just for a second or two and remove from stove. Add 1 teaspoon soda and stir well. Fill a baked crust, spread pie with meringue and brown in over.
* NOTE: Could use sweet cream add a little lemon juice, after you have cooked your mixture, before you add your soda.
